Highlights

  • Aircraft squawking an emergency code now use distinct emergency sprites in tower, approach, and en-route views.
  • Germany gained FIR and UIR boundaries, and Chart Explorer now presents FIR and UIR in a consistent hierarchy.
  • FIR and UIR labels now use one stable anchor per region and avoid duplicates where boundaries coincide.

Improvements

  • Refined airspace hierarchy, sector styling, and en-route sector rendering.
  • Upgraded MapLibre to 6.3 with more precise tracking of navdata loading at startup.
  • Preserved vector masters for target artwork, with automated source checks.

Fixes

  • Excluded ground vehicles and tower targets from emergency styling.
  • Aligned Incheon FIR northern and ACC boundaries with the reviewed Military Demarcation Line reference.
  • Shortened FIR boundary ticks for a calmer overview.

In Progress

  • Improving airspace label contrast and palette consistency across map themes.
  • Extending the airspace visual language to terminal and European airspace classes.
  • Reducing airspace layer complexity as styling rules grow.
