Highlights

  • Navdata for the United States, Republic of Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and China now loads from one verified, versioned catalog.
  • Aerodromes, airways, landing aids, procedures, holdings, vectoring altitudes, and FAA special use airspace now render from catalog data.
  • Airport surface data and obstacles are now split into smaller files loaded only when needed.

Improvements

  • Added airport communications and services to the Information panel and FAA weather stations to Chart Explorer.
  • Extended core Chart Explorer controls across regions and moved waypoint lookup and search onto the catalog.
  • Staged, verified, and deliberately promoted catalog releases under a defined retention policy.

Fixes

  • Corrected FAA airway scope, classification, route points, fix retention, and segment continuity.
  • Restored ILS course display geometry for supported landing aids.
  • Prevented browsers from reusing a stale cached catalog pointer.

In Progress

  • Retiring legacy navdata delivery paths now that the catalog leads.
  • Preparing the next AIRAC refresh across all six countries.
  • Completing visual policies and acceptance checks for new feature families.
